The EJIC is a free service for job
hunters, career changers, and students of all ages. The center is open whenever
the library is open. Get help with your job hunt, find a college, prepare for a
test. Job seekers are encouraged to participate in our Skills Training &
Education Project (STEP) programs.

workshops on a variety of topics such as finding government jobs, college and
career planning, and writing resumes on the computer, among others.

for the students of schools located outside of New York City. Available weekdays only,
between 9AM and 2PM. No computerized tests. Patrons should make arrangements with
the school first, and then call EJIC
at 718.230.2177 to provide their contact information. EJIC
will receive their exams and contact them.

access and standard computer applications, as well as WinWay Resume software
on 5 computers, a program that helps create résumés quickly and easily.

Central Library.
