Services

Met Council’s supported housing program for mentally ill adults provides permanent housing with support services that enable individuals to lead productive lives in the community. Support services include case management services which assure that individuals receive medical and psychiatric services, referrals to community resources, assisting residents in obtaining government benefits to which they may be entitled and vocational referrals.

We also provide group services designed to reduce isolation and increase socialization activities and skills. Our housing provides a family oriented environment which focuses on maximizing individual strengths and mutual support.

Metro House, a 54-unit building, provides services essential for both individuals and the community. This location provides case management services that assure individuals receive medical and psychiatric services, referrals to community resources, assistance obtaining government benefits for which they may be entitled, and vocational referrals. We also provide group services designed to reduce isolation and increase socialization activities and skills. Metro House is located near Jewish Home and Hospital and the Albert Einstein—Jack D. Weiler Hospital.
